Privacy policy

Summary

PromptKit is a free prompt-engineering tool built by This Is Digital ("TID", "we", "our"). We collect the minimum information needed to run the service, store it on our infrastructure, and use it only to provide PromptKit to you. We never sell your data. The prompts you submit are sent to a third-party large-language-model provider (Anthropic) to be processed; Anthropic's commercial terms state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's generative models. See their privacy policy for the full position.

What we collect

• Your email address when you sign in.
• The prompts you submit and the super-prompts we generate.
• Saved prompts you choose to keep in your library.
• A salted one-way hash of your IP address for anonymous-usage rate-limiting. The raw IP is never stored.
• Anonymous usage events (e.g., "enhance succeeded") for product improvement.

Where it goes

We rely on the following third parties to run PromptKit:

• Anthropic — processes the prompts you submit to generate super-prompts. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's generative models. We do not control Anthropic's independent processing of data submitted to their API; see their privacy policy.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication. Your saved prompts and account information live here. Supabase's servers may be located outside Kenya.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google. Google sees the sign-in event but does not receive your prompts.

How long we keep it

• Saved prompts: until you delete them or your account is closed.
• Account information: until you ask us to delete it.
• Usage logs: 18 months, then they are aggregated and the per-user records are deleted.
• Anthropic processing: subject to Anthropic's own retention; we do not store your prompts on Anthropic's servers.

Your rights

You can delete your saved prompts at any time from the Library. To delete your account, or to request a copy of the information we hold about you, email us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Children

PromptKit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may change this policy. If we make a material change, we will post a notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
